1. The principle of this ancient rally is undermined by greed whereby the Host Country will be the biggest loser.
2. Remove the possibility of terrorist / mindless

The facts are: The Host Country cannot afford FREE education or sustain its flagship the Ark Royal - HOW will this Country cope and make good the damages caused to Transports, by unwanted waste and the Police Force without the Summer crumbs thereafter?
The Sunday Trading Act 1994 made Parliament redundant and today consist of: Crooks; Shirt lifters; Those who can buy a way in and old failures. Meaning the Country is better off without these Politicians. Especially now they want a 'minority rule' in power. As far as the Writer is concerned, string puppets are more convincing than 'Dave & Nick the Flowerpot MPs'.

In truth: The true RECIPIENTS of the Railways are the USERS, not stupid Politicians and their greedy business friends.
The Politicians latest notion of increasing the 70 mph limit by 10 mph to save TEN minutes after driving a FULL hour at the CONSTANT speed of 80 mph. The grounds for this being; "Other Countries have done it; it must be the right thing to do", When it comes to comparing the aftermath of Greece's 2004 Olympic - there's no consideration. Not even the billions that can be saved by cancelling the 2012 Olympic and the ABSOLUTE assurance of NO carnage occurring.
How saving 10 minutes per hour on a journey costing an extra £4 in fuel and high pollution is a good thing - must be on a JOURNEY with Tony Blair the liar?
Is it right that Greece the founder of the Olympic games and giving birth to DEMOCRACY must sell their railways and STATE owned assets to the bogus IMF & their greedy Partners in crime TO SURVIVE???
The Writer is a West Ham supporter since 1963 and feel that if the Club's owners real want the Olympic stadium - all they have to do is join the writer and wait for cancellation of the 2012 Olympic.
